It feels absolutely fantastic to be able to offer Gotland leather for reupholstering Yngve Ekström’s classic Laminett armchair—for the most beautiful result in every category!
The leather has been specially selected for its quality and craftsmanship to ensure the final result is as good as it can possibly be.
The leather is delivered pre-cut but with a few centimeters of extra allowance so it can be gently stretched during installation, after which the excess can be trimmed away along the armrests.
The Gotland leather is available in Light Gray, Medium Gray, and Dark Gray—the same colors as the leather currently on the armchair in the first photo.
Pile Length 1: 35 mm (curly pile, throw-style cut)
Pile length 2: 25 mm (furniture-cut; recommended to minimize matting)
Washable: Yes.
Country of origin: Sweden
Delivery time: approx. 10 business days

Armchair Hide Dimensions: Approx. 48x50x45 & approx. 120 cm long
Dimensions of Stool Cover: Approx. 54x65 cm, round-cut and ready for assembly.
You can also choose to purchase carrying straps, wool profiles (our profiles are made of wool instead of plastic), and glue.
Place the wool profiles where the leather folds at the knee creases and at the top of the headrest.
Tip: If you’d like a stool cover, order it at the same time as the armchair cover—this minimizes differences between the covers, as we can more easily find hides with matching shades and textures at that time.
Tip 2: We can also make a cover for Laminett that you can easily slip on without any complicated assembly.
