Swedish classic armchair in the best cut now with upholstered cushion in finest Gotland leather.
Made by Gemla Snickerifabrik and designed by Sonna Rosén in 1948 originally as a piece of furniture for the elderly because it is so easy to get up from.
Already in 1952, SOLFJÄDERN was awarded the "Good Design" award by the Modern Art Museum MoMa in New York, and has since been part of their collections.
The armchair has become one of Gemla's most appreciated classics and is today represented in interiors around the world.
